Further Details

Helen Lees is an emerging artist. She has taken part in a four person exhibition in London, in Gallery 33, Borough in 2005. There she showed some of the work you see on this site and made some proper sales for the first time! A further solo, selling exhibition was in July 2007, at Birmingham University, in the Life Sciences Museum.

This was called: 'The colour of dinosaurs' and was a response to the (now colourless, of course) collection of fossils held in the museum.

Helen has done a small amount of illustration work for the Times and the Times Educational Supplement, and has sold some of her pictures on Ebay in the past. Helen recently completed a PhD in Education at the University of Birmingham. Click here for academic work. She is currently working at the University of Stirling. Click here for Stirling overview. She published a collection of poetry called 'Love in This World' in 2003 and has a new collection called 'Adult' coming out at some point in the future.
